The MP from the LDK ranks, Doarsa Kica-Jeli, has sharply criticised the Law for Proposed Government and adopted by executive-led Albin Kurti.
Through a response to her Facebook profile, she has described this law as a severely written “and filled with legal contradictions, calling it an example of Kurti Government amate.
This law, passed by this Government for itself, is conflicted, unclear and more confused than it solves precisely like Kurti Government,” has declared Kica-Gelly.
According to her, one of the biggest contradictions of this law is the impact between Article 26 and Article 29. She emphasises that Article 26 clearly stipulates that a member of the government cabinet should resign if elected MP, while Article 29 paints a general description of cases when the government's mandate ends.
Kica-Jeli has highlighted the fact that in these cases specific norms, such as Article 26, should have an advantage over general norms. According to her, however, Prime Minister Albin Kurti is not respecting this legal obligation.
Albin Kurti does not resign, even if the law is completely clear. He is the best example of the importance of the symbolic pre-compliance,” it has added, accusing the prime minister of disrespect for the Constitution and rule of law.
At the end of its response, the MP has suggested that Kurti's refusal to implement this law does not make it stronger politically, but rather, it turns it into an violator of democracy and the rule of law.
The Law on Government, Kurti Government, miraculously displays the amate of the same government
An incredibly written law,
