Elon Musk has crashed with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, in terms of the Starlink financing in Ukraine. The debate began after a post by Musk, where he stressed that without Starlink, Ukraine would not be able to fight against Russia.
This statement prompted the reaction of the Polish minister, who explained that Poland pays about $50m a year for the Starlink service in Ukraine.
“Starlinks for Ukraine are financed by the Polish Ministry of Digitalisation at a cost of about $50m annually. If SpaceX turns out to be an unreliable bidder, we will be forced to look for other options,” Sikorski wrote on social networks.
