These fines are the result of anti-Kosovo calls, discriminating messages and riots that are constantly recorded during national team matches and Serbian clubs.
Only in the last five years, UEFA has earmarked fines of 703 thousand euros for insults and discrimination in tribusa.
Serbia's Football Federation has announced that these fines have become almost common for Serbian football, stressing that most national teams and clubs have been involved in such incidents.

The Federation announcement stresses that viewers have been constantly warned of the consequences of irresponsible actions, but however, incidents continue.
Anti-Kosovo calls and political messages are present not only in football, but also in other sports like basketball.
Serbian fans often use flags and banners with messages like “Kosovo is Serbia” and “S's surrender”, creating an atmosphere of tension in stadiums.
One of the most recent cases of fines was during the wars of the League of Nations, where the Federation was sentenced to 259 thousand euros for riots in the tribunes.
Only for incidents in Switzerland did the fine amount to 119 thousand euros. The Federation has called for avoiding new incidents, especially prior to important matches such as the one against Austria in Vienna and Albania in Belgrade.
Albania and Serbia are again in the same group in qualifications for the 2026 World Cup. The first match between them will be played on 7 June in Tirana, while the October 11th return match in Belgrade.
