Kosovo's basketball national on Sunday faces Switzerland in the crucial match for FIBA Cup 2027 for preliminary.
Kosovo basketball players believe in victory on the road to qualifications, meanwhile, require Sunday to be a basketball party.
Kosovo's Basketball Federation announces that tickets will go on sale Saturday from 12:00 and will continue to be sold Sunday at “NewBorn”, ahead of the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina.
A ticket costs 4 euros.
Kosovo-Switzer is held on Sunday from 7:30 in Pristina's Youth and Sports Palace.
Dardans have two victories and three defeats in European pre-qualifications for FIBA 2027 World Cup.
It should be noted that Switzerland has already secured its first position in Group A of the first round of pre-qualifications.
For Kosovo, Sunday's confronting Switzerland is crucial to hoping in the qualifications further.
The Dardans on Thursday won over Azerbaijan, with 81:79 results. Currently, Kosovo is in second place in the group with seven points, equal to Ireland in third place, while Azerbaijan is in fourth with six points.
And for Kosovo to pass away, there are several combinations. The Dardans need victory over Switzerland to stay in second place.
If Azerbaijan wins Ireland and Kosovo is defeated by Switzerland, then the Azers will switch from fourth to second. Meanwhile, in the event of Ireland's victory and Kosovo's defeat of Switzerland, the second position belongs to the Dardans, because they have better balance in direct confrontations.
However, even if it finally takes second place in the group, it does not guarantee the passage away from Kosovo. This, as in the second round of pre-preditions, goes only to the country's best team of three groups currently in this round.
