Specialised rooms for Kosovo have for the second time rejected the request that former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci visit his ailing father shortly. Thaci's family have said that refusal except unjust and unhuman is also political, until their father's situation says it has deteriorated greatly lately.
Another NO has taken former President Hashim Thaci in demand to return to Kosovo and visit his ailing father.
His family, the next refusal, has not been well received, until they mention that the situation of Haxhi Thaci has gone by worsening.
Idriz Thaci, brother of former Kosovo Liberation Army political director Hashim Thaci, in a written response to Dukagjini, criticises the special decision, which he considers nonhuman and political.
“Babe's condition has deteriorated again and he is constantly seeking to speak to Hashim, to see him. This is the third time that is being established in a short period of time, and its condition is getting worse and worse. In the face of this situation, our brother's refusal to visit by the Specialised Chambers is unhuman, unjust, and violation of his rights. There is no procedure or regulation that will not allow the visit, so this refusal is only political”, Thaci said.
The Special Court, announced a day earlier that it has again rejected the second request Hashim Thaci has made through lawyers to stay in Kosovo, saying there are other options for him to be in contact with his father.
The trial body has rejected Mr. Thaci for this visit because Mr. Dad's situation. Thaci has not changed and for that reason no conditions have been created to allow surveillance visit”, Special spokesman Michael Doyle said.
