Plyses respond: European decision for Albania-Serbia not only meaningless but also anti-national

Following Albania's official National Group in football, even the tyfo-group Pleasat has reacted Thursday after U. EFA formalised the decision for the 2027 European U21 to be held in Albania and Serbia.

The Albanian Football Fund must know that sport is not separate from history or the feelings of the people it represents. This decision is not only meaningless but also antinational. Nobody gave you a warrant to rehabilitate criminals. Nobody gave you the mandate to overstep our dignity. Sport may be a bridge between peoples, but not when it is used to normalise injustice, fascism, the blame of the Balkan most genocide-state debt”, said in response to the pristina group.

This group has demanded that the Albanian Federation withdraw from the decision.

“We cannot keep silent in the face of such injustice. We ask the Albanian Football Federation to review this decision, withdraw from the most shameful act in Albanian sports history and not sell our national dignity for narrow interests. Sports should unite us, but not by forcing us to forget our blood and pain. There are two ways to remember the history of our people. One is filled with pain and suffering, the other filled with pride and honor. Neither of you will be able to step on it. With no organization of yours, no brotherhood of our blood-blooded”, writes among other things in Pliss response.

Plyses have been among the groups that have always been in the stands to support Albania.
