Through a Facebook post, Hoti has also published the letter to High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallah, through which concrete steps are required to force Serbia to co-operate and open its state archives, including military, police and intelligence.
Paper requested:
The immediate and unconditional opening of Serbia's state archives containing key information on the whereabouts of the missing.
A full co-operation with the dawning of the role of paramilitary forces and Serbian collaborators, who, with the support of the Milosevic regime, executed and destroyed thousands of Albanians.
Accounting for Serbia's continued refusal to deliver information on mass graves known within its territory.
Next, Hoti writes that our independence has been achieved with great sacrifices, and we cannot allow the victims of genocide to be forgotten or denied the family's right to know the truth.
Serbia continues to deny its responsibility and sabotage efforts for justice, refusing to disclose data on the whereabouts of the missing. Kosovo has built peace on justice and truth, and will not stop until each missing one returns to his family and Serbia is held accountable for the crimes committed. Glory to the fallen for freedom! Honor for those with violence! Happy Independence, Kosovo”, he wrote.
