Kosovo fails again to Switzerland, eliminated by pre-qualifications

Kosovo's basketball representative has failed to pass the first round of European qualifications for the 2027 World Championship.

In the latest Group A match, Kosovo was defeated by Switzerland by 81:73.

The match was held Sunday evening at the Youth Palace in Pristina, the arena that was packed with viewers. But help from viewers did not work out for Kosovo.

Switzerland, although it previously provided the qualifications and was without some of the most important players, has fully dominated. He was constantly ahead and obtained two new points. Kosovo needed victory to hope in qualifications from second position.

“Dardians” finished the race in third place of Group A with eight points. They scored two wins, and four losses were lost. Switzerland won the group by 12 points, with six convincing victories respectively. Ireland is second with nine points, while Azerbaijan ranks last with seven points.

For Kosovo this is only the next cycle, concluded without intended success.

To Switzerland, Kosovo lost 75:43 matches on the journey. There was hope of a revan, but he wasn't even close. The hackers won the first quarter, with a score of 23:4. The third quarter belonged to Kosovo 15:13, but even after 30 minutes, Switzerland's supremacy was huge. In the fourth quarter, in spite of efforts, Kosovo failed to risk guest supremacy.

Paul Women's Yoan Granvorka was spotted in Switzerland by 20 points. Granvorka also had ten dances.

Kosovo's representative continues to have numerous troubles to spend the first rounds of pre-qualifications, though basketball in Kosovo continues to be very popular. Clubs invest even over a million euros within a year, but the development of local basketball players is not the right one for the most part. And this is seen in every game that Kosovo representative plays.
