Tony Blair arrives in Egypt

Former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair has arrived at Egypt's Sharm el-Sheik for today's Gaza summit and peace in the Middle East.

As American correspondent Mark Stone noted in Sky News, Blair is one of many diplomats and world leaders in Egypt today who will be forced to host Donald Trumpin é, who is about three hours late after leaving Israel, writes Sky News.

Blair is at today's meeting because Trump assigned him to a role in his Peace Board, which oversees the truce in Gaza.

After Palestinian objections, however, Blair's role appears to be in doubt with Trump who has not responded was questioned about his involvement. /Periscopi/
