Albin Ukzmaili, Harbin Hasani and Edmir Rzhaja showed high readiness, professionalism and humanity when a woman collapsed near the barracks where they served. Without wasting time, the soldiers offered her first aid by immediately starting with cardiac massages and by switching with each other to keep the pace of vital help.
In addition to the rapid intervention, police and rescue services quickly announced, which arrived at the scene and transported the woman to the hospital. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated response of the three soldiers, the patient's condition stabilized on time.
This courageous act has not gone unappreciated. The Swiss Army has officially decorated soldiers for their vital intervention and contribution to saving the lives of citizens.
This is another example of the successful integration of Albanians into Swiss society and the common values of humanity, responsibility and professionalism.
