On October 16th, the Serbian List has again handed over an annex to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo over the election of the deputy head of the Parliament from the Serb community, claiming the Constitutional Court has been violated, regulating the work of the Parliament, as well as a previous Constitutional Court act.
“also, we have called for the deployment of a temporary move to prevent unconstitutional actions that could cause irreversible damage”, said the announcement of the Serbian List, the main party of Kosovo Serbs enjoying Belgrade's support.
The new Kosovo Assembly was dedicated on 10 October, with Nenad Rashiqi's election as deputy chairman from the ranks of the Serb community.
The material is currently not available.
His election was made after all nine MPs from the Serbian List, though they were cast three times in the vote, did not get the necessary votes.
The Constitution had addressed the complaint filed earlier by the Serbian List regarding the vice-presidents' case after the head of the Parliament, Dimal Basha, had announced the constitutionalised Parliament without the election of fifth deputy chairman from the ranks of the Serb community.
The Court later found that the Assembly was not constitutional, demanding that MPs elect the deputy leader from the ranks of the Serb community in order to clear the way for forming the Government.
In the Constitutional decision, it was said that the proposal for deputy leader from the ranks of non-US communities in this case of the Serb minority should be made by the majority or largest number of MPs from among the Serb community's deputies.
After MPs from the Serbian List did not get the sufficient number of votes, Parliament Speaker Dimal Basha demanded that the Serbian deputy leader's election continue through the lots, enabling the other Serbian MP, Nenad Rassic, from the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival to be elected vice president.
Rassic has been minister in Albin Kurti Government, leading the dictatorship for Communists and Kthim. /Periscopi/
