Scandal in Northern Macedonia, Albanian club is suspended by all leagues!

According to the club's response, the official reason for this decision is the club's financial debt worth 550,000 denaries.

However, club leaders stress that the situation is the result of failing to take the means promised by the Sport Ministry, funds which KB “Skopje” should take time to cover its financial obligations.

What has shocked sports opinion is the fact that for the club's suspension, Albanian member of the board has also voted, raising serious questions about the protection of Albanian sports interests and the club itself representing a long tradition in Skopje basketball, says Time, broadcasts Periscopi.

With this decision, KB “Skopje” is excluded from all official activities of the Federation, which is expected to cause major consequences for Albanian players, trainers and sports community in the country.

This development has sparked sharp reactions to the opinion, which urgently calls for reviewing the decision and intervention of relevant institutions to avoid an irreparable damage to Albanian sports in northern Macedonia. /Periscopi
