Pristina Community Chairman Progress Rama has signed the decision today to secure transportation for Kosovo Liberation Army veterans who will participate in the nationwide protest on 17 October in Tirana.
In a public statement, President Rama stressed that this decision is an expression of institutional respect and public gratitude for those who sacrificed for the freedom of the country. Our Veterians are not just part of the past, but are part of our national conscience,” he said
Pristina's chairman added that the capital will remain an example of political culture and respect for the values of liberation war and the families of martyrs. He also expressed respect for all who, according to him, “still keep alive the memory of our freedom”.
“You meet the respect of an entire nation,” concluded Rama, confirming participation in the warned protest in Tirana and conveying the message of unity and nationwide solidarity.
