Kosovo Police Inspectorate has recommended the Kosovo Police's suspension from the duties of two police officials at the Rahovec Police Station, the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova.
Based on preliminary data and evidence provided so far, according to the IPK, there is reasonable doubt that the same have committed criminal work “due to the use of official position or authority”.
The “Investigations related to this case are being carried out by the IPK Investigation Department, in co-operation with the State Prosecutor with the aim of fully clarifying all circumstances and eventual illegal actions of police officials involved.
The recommendation for the provisional suspension of police officials has been undertaken in order not to influence the investigative process and ensure the independence and impartiality of investigations.”/ Periscope.
