State police announce measures plan for protest in support of KLA in Tirana

Albania's police have published the plan of measures expected to be held this Friday, October 17th, at five o'clock, in “Square. Skenderbej” in Tirana, in support of former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK).
According to Albanian authorities, the protest will be accompanied by increased security measures and temporary circulation restrictions on some of the capital's main assets.
Concretically, the circulation on the New Boulevard will be temporarily blocked during the gathering, from 5:00 to 7: 00 p.m.
Tirana police report that, in addition to today's protest, measures are envisioned for two other high-responsioned activities to take place at the weekend: “Marathon Fan Run” and Tirana's “Marathon 2025”. Citizens are advised to avoid moving by vehicles to areas where there will be restrictions, to follow alternative roads, and to respect the instructions of police workers who will be present on the ground.
