After deep analysis of the election process in South Mitrovica and reviewing the evidence and arguments of illegal and criminal manipulation and influence on citizens' vote, we announce that we will hand over criminal indictments to the following persons:
Baton Haxhiu, Berat Buzhala, Lirim Mehmetaj, Ilir Mirena, Valon Syla, Ermal Panduri, Valon Feka, Shumbin Katazi and others for alleged free Voters' Freedom Determination, sanctioned by Article 210 and Falsification of Election Results under Article 216 of the Kosovo Criminal Code.
While justice institutions are called on for urgent, fair and merit treatment of these crimes, over the next few days we will also present facts, arguments and other evidence based on the statements of citizens and other entities.
During the election campaign, especially during election day, without waiting, as the Law for Elections defines, to complete the election process, some “ ”media “and individuals linked to illegal groups of interest, throughout the day have taken synchronized action through slander, lynching, false accusations, manipulated numbers, and climaxing with the publication of the so-called “polyx4>, which very soon proved not only that they do not reflect the real will of voters, but even stay far away. The sole purpose of these actions was to create confusion, trying to influence and illegally deviate the will of citizens in Mitrovica and change the outcome of the elections.
