Text
We, the signatories, welcome the truly historic commitment and implementation of all sides of the Trump Peace Agreement, which ends more than two years of suffering and deep losses, opening a new chapter for the region, marked by hope, security and a common vision of peace and prosperity.
We support and approve President Trump's sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza and bring lasting peace to the Middle East. Together, we will implement this agreement in a way that ensures peace, security, stability and opportunity for all peoples in the region, including Palestinians and Israelis. We acknowledge that a lasting peace will be one in which both Palestinians and Israelites can flourish, with their basic human rights protected, their guaranteed security and their dignity protected.
We affirm that significant progress is realised through sustainable co-operation and dialogue, and that strengthening ties between nations and peoples serves the lasting interests of regional and global peace and stability. We recognize the deep historical and spiritual importance of this region for religious communities whose roots are interlocked with the earth, including Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Respect for these sacred ties and protection of their heritage sites will remain the basis for our commitment to peaceful coexistence.
We are united in our determination to dismantle extremism and radicalisation in all their forms. No society can thrive when violence and racism normalize, or when radical ideologies threaten the fabric of civil life.
We are committed to facing situations that promote extremism and promote mutual education, possibilities and respect as foundations for lasting peace. Therefore, we commit ourselves to resolving future disputes through diplomatic engagement and negotiations, instead of prolonged force or conflict.
We acknowledge that the Middle East cannot tolerate a continuous cycle of prolonged wars, stalled negotiations, or partial, incomplete, or the key to successfully negotiated conditions. The tragedies we have seen over the past two years should serve as an urgent reminder that future generations deserve more than past failures. We seek equal tolerance, dignity, and opportunity for each person, ensuring that this region is a place where everyone can pursue their aspirations in peace, security, and economic prosperity regardless of race, faith, or ethnicity. We follow a comprehensive vision of common peace, security and prosperity in the region, based on principles of mutual respect and shared destiny.
In that spirit, we welcome the progress made in reaching comprehensive and lasting peace agreements at the Gaza Strip, as well as friendly and mutually constructive relations between Israel and its regional neighbours.
We engage to work together to implement and support this heritage by building institutional foundations on which future generations can flourish together in peace. We are committed to a future of lasting peace.
Donald J. Trump, president of United States of America
Abdel Fattah al-Asi, president of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatar State Emir
