PDK urges CEC intervention in Malisheva: Counting Process at Risk

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has reacted to, as it says, violations of the process of verification and counting ballots in Malisheva.

According to a statement by the branch of this party from this municipality, the presence of unauthorised candidates and structures by the Social Democrat Initiative in spaces reserved for certified commissioners and observers has been noted.

The verification and number of balloting in Malisheva is at risk!
The presence of candidates for the Municipal Assembly by the Social Democrat Initiative, Safet Morina, Hfir Rexha, has been noted at the checkout centre in Malisevo, which is strictly prohibited by law and by CEC rules!
In addition, unauthorised persons, the facility of the Initiative and portals with them are freely moving in spaces reserved only for certified commissioners and observers, questioning the integrity of the election process.
This is a flagrant violation that risks compromising the will of Malisheva citizens!
We request immediate intervention by the CEC and the responsible bodies to halt this unacceptable intervention and ensure fair, transparent and fair counting.
