“We discussed Kosovo's growing role in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, following the decision to advance our status to associate members a significant step forward on our Euro-Atlantic path”, said the president's announcement.
She has even indicated that she has reconfirmed that Kosovo will seize this opportunity for NATO membership.
“Reconfirmed that Kosovo will fully exploit this opportunity as part of our broader aspirations for NATO membership, which remains at the same time the priority of our foreign policy and the issue of particular importance for national security”, she said.
