Krasniqi said the outcome of the elections is a victory for citizens, while stressing that the PDK is the only party that has marked the rise of popular vote compared to the 2021 local elections.

This is a citizen victory. On Sunday we have received over 180 thousand votes, we are the only party to increase the popular vote compared to the 2021 elections. In Ferizaj, Han of Elez and Skenderaj we won without a run-off, in the rest of the Jena in Bal run-off”, Krasniqi said.

Speaking of the result in Drenas, Krasniqi described it as a particular challenge for PDK. He said that the division of the electorate had created a situation similar to that of the first four years but that this time the candidate against The PDK won the support of citizens.

Of course the loss in Drenas left us a bitter taste, it was a repeat of the situation four years ago that our electorate split into two barrels, but this time against candidate The PDK got the trust of the citizen, and I wish the elected mayor victory and I hope he will work for the good of the citizens of the municipality. I'm sorry that in this local race the citizens of Drenas were placed in a difficult position because of the candidates' confusion, but I really believe that support for The PDK in the national elections will continue”, Krasniqi said before the media.
