Lipjan vote count ends, Imri Ahmeti secures another term

The Central Election Commission has completed the vote count in the Lipjan municipality. According to updated data at 11:55, the current mayor of this municipality, Imri Ahmeti from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has also secured a mandate to lead Lipjanin. According to updated data at 11:55, the current mayor of this municipality, Imri Ahmeti from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has also secured a mandate to lead Lipjanin.
Ahmeti has won 15,027 votes, representing 51.15% of the valid votes. His counter-Candidate, Shukri Buja, has received 8,954 votes, or 30.48%, while the other candidate, Ilir Qariqi, has secured 4,597 votes, accounting for 15.67% of the final result.
Local elections are held on 12 October.
