Illegal possession and illegal hunting, three arrested in Zubin Potok

Three people were arrested yesterday afternoon by police in the village of Kryligate in Zubin Potok. V. H, F.S. and V. As the law enforcement agencies report, officials from Kosovo's Forestry, during the performance of office have encountered a vehicle in which three suspected persons were located.
After a verbal dispute between the parties, forest officials (victims) have appeared at the police station to issue their statement, while suspects have been accompanied to SP Zubin Potok”, police reports.
In addition, they are said to have voluntarily handed over the weapons as follows:
Three hunting rifles;
A pistol?
25 rounds of related weapons;
A hand radio.
The initial investigation has found that the area is not allowed to hunt, as the same is a protected area.
By order of the competent prosecutor, the suspects have been released in regular procedure, while cases of criminal acts have been initiated against them: Possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons, and illegal hunting”.
Kosovo police appeal to all citizens to respect laws and regulations that prohibit hunting in protected areas, as well as not to carry arms without permission, as any such action poses violations of the law and risks to public safety.
