With two hours late, the vote count for municipal assembly candidates in Pristina has begun.

Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has said there are over 33 thousand ballots from the diaspora.
“From the vote outside Kosovo from the withdrawal of postal shipments made from 22 mailboxes, out of a total of 23 that are located in various states the number of alleged ballot envelopes is 33 thousand and 258”, he said.
Elez has said that the counting of ballots from the conditional vote, of voting from persons with special needs and of ballots from outside Kosovo will take place at the Counting and Results Centre after the process is completed at these municipal counting centres.
It has added that on Sunday evening, at 2,571 regular deployments have been completed in the process of counting the votes of candidates for mayors and votes of political subjects from the Elections for Communist Places.
Elez has said that following the completion of counting and other procedures, election materials from 948 Voting centres have been withdrawn and sent to 38 Municipal Counting Centres.
“So, under the Law for General Elections, in the Local Elections the numbering of votes of the candidates for the mayors of municipalities and votes of political subjects for the Communist Assembly takes place after the outcome of the vote, which are identified in forms. Meanwhile, according to the same law, the votes of candidates for members of the Municipal Assembly are counted at the Municipal Counting Centre, which will be realised through counting teams. In addition to counting the votes of the candidates for members of the Municipal Assembly, in these centres, according to the CEC Electoral Order for the Municipal Counting Centres, there will also be verification of results from the forms that have been completed at the polls after counting the ballot. We announce that this process, at 12: 00 p.m., began in three municipalities and at 4: 00 p.m. at 35 more, he said.
He added that in 38 the Municipal Counting Centre will be worked at two times, the CEC has already named more than 520 counting teams with over 2,000 members./Periscopi/
