Haradinaj: I talked with Krasniqi and Abdixhiku about co-operation in the runoff

AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has acknowledged that he has begun communicating with PDK and LDK for co-operation in the second round of local elections.

He has indicated he has talked with Memli Krasniqi and Lumir Abdixik on the issue.

In a proposal for “Index Oline”, Haradinaj has estimated that the arrival will show what will happen.

“We're open to discuss the situation with other municipalities where we're not in the race. Initially, I have developed communication with opposition party leaders, in this case Mr. Krasniqi, Mr. Abdixhiku. Let's see how we cooperate.”, he said.

Haradinaj has said that the position of the branch is considered for local co-government.

“We have a tradition, even branches make decisions. And so does that tradition. If the branch has interest, or purpose, even with the VV, at the municipal level we don't spoil it. Where we don't compete, there's an interest in cooperation, of all of us, and of me and the mayors.”, he said, giving more details.

“We've even had a past run of VVs at the municipal level in Kamenica and Podujevo, so we don't interfere with this relationship, those municipal-level relations, are something we have respected in the past. We are not responsible for VV's victory, so VV has won itself, the mayors have won themselves. We don't change the situation anymore, we're not the ones to give the VV victory, in this case. The VV mayors in these municipalities have won but for assemblies they need majority and we have co-government in the past”, Haradinaj has declared.
