The German diplomat reiterated support over Kosovo's European ambition as well as its international integration.
German is and remains a strong friend and partner. We are proud to have supported Kosovo's journey that well ahead of its independence and will continue to do so. Our government, which took office in May, confirmed our long-standing support for the Western Balkans as one of the main priorities of our foreign policy. Even in our parliament, Bundestag, support and friendship with Kosovo are deep and deep in all democratic parties, as I experienced in many conversations in Berlin last weeks... Kosovo is part of Europe. I want to support Kosovo's European ambitions and its international integration. The EU enlargement process is a personal priority for Foreign Minister Johann Wadefhul. For each of us in Europe, the first step towards European integration is strengthening regional relations and co-operation with our respective neighbours”, he added.
