Sarcozy will be locked in a cell in the area of important prisoners. Although one of France's oldest prisons, 1867, “La Santé” underwent complete reconstruction in 2019.
Currently, so - called VIP cells have such a view: a space of some 30 square feet [10 sq m], the common cells, but where VIP characters do not share the cell with others. They have kitchens, televisions, beds, toilets, and a special phone line for certain numbers. You look more like a luxury hotel than a cell.
