Customs officials in co-operation with Croatian police at Karasovic's border checkpoint prevented an effort to smuggle a large sum of money.
During the exit search by Croatia, 702,435 euros have been found hidden in the property of an Albanian citizen, customs reported.
Meanwhile, the Albanian has been detained on the way out of the country, and the amount of money resulted undeclared by the Customs Administration.
The discovery was made during stepped-up measures of surveillance carried out by the officers of the Dubrovnik Anti-Contract Service and Mobile Units, along with police administration officers Dubrovnik-Neretva./Periscopi/
