In the absence of indictee Dardan Molyqaj, he has again failed to launch trial Thursday at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, in the case where he and Fatos Sahiti are charged with the attack on Hakki Abaz after a television debate in 2019. So Moliq, arrest warrants will be issued.
The case judge, Gen Gashi, indicated that due to the lack of hearing, Molyqaj will issue arrest warrants.
Today's “judicial review session cannot be held due to the lack of indictee Dardan Moliqaj. To defendants Dardan Momliqaj will be issued arrest warrant”, the judge said.
Present at the session were accused Fatos Sahiti and Dardan Moliqaj's lawyer, Dren Kukaj. On the other hand, Hakki Abazi was injured by lawyer Sadije Medici.
So this session failed without legal conditions.
Indictee Dardan Molyqaj, president of the Social Democrat Party (PSD), also missed the September 4th 2025 session, in which the lack had reasoned with commitments for the election campaign.
Otherwise, according to the indictment filed on February 18th 2020 by Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor Dardan Moliqaj and Fatos Sahiti are charged with committing criminal work “in co-ordination. Attack”, from Article 184, paragraph 1 related to Article 31 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code, the act punishable by fine or imprisonment for up to a year.
The indictment reportedly appears on September 11, 2019, about 22:00 in Fushe Kosovo, at the “College. AAB”, top defendants after the end of the debate on “Pressing” television studio, where Andrew Shala, Rex Hoti, Hakki Abazi and Dardan Moliqaj, were invited to the TV studio, as soon as they were out in the AAB College corridor, defendant Moliqaj first called to damage Abazi “here to talk what he wanted to say in the debate”, which was ahead of them in the lobby with Rexhep Hox> reports Justice <6>.
On the other hand, the indictment is said to have approached the defendant Molyqaj on purpose, using force to attack the injured Hakki Abazi in a way that he originally captured for his hands and then punched him in the face and kicked in the leg.
All in accordance with the indictment, the defendant Sahiti's attack, who strikes the victim with his fist until the victim reaches out and quickly leaves towards T7 television studio, and thus worries him about the case.
