Businessman Didia: When I was building the Ibër Bridge, Faton Peci tried to stop us from making video campaigns

He had become known not only for the Kosovo Albanians, but throughout Albanian lands after the hard work he is doing in building two bridges over the Iber River that connect the two parts of the town of Mitrovica.

Businessman Dedia has discovered exclusive details in this interview, things previously unknown.

He has confessed an interesting case with Mitrovica municipality chairman Faton Peci, who has said that while working the bridge for the Peci cars, he had gone there to make video campaigning and had not even greeted them.

In addition, Dedia has confessed to how his men asked him to stop his work so that Peci could make video campaigns.

“I've never mentioned it, but today I'm pointing it out, bad people like they're looking at people. That's why. That when I get to build up to the bridge, Faton Peci has come with a group of bodyguards, and I'm wearing boots up here with your water belts there to build the bridge, and I've worked for 24 hours that I gave my word before the state, before the government of the Republic of Kosovo, that September 2nd it's going to be the road, the bridge and that's why I've worked 24 hours. It's been campaigning, making video there, and there's 50 people there, and I'm a team, and I'm not even coming in to talk to us, and I'm going through the tape. From all over Albania, from Bujanoci, Macedonia, Albania, Debar the Great, they've come all over us and supported us, but the mayor's candidate has not come to greet us. On the contrary, we were in concrete, four concrete mixers were waiting, came in and told the boys there that I was going to take an hour to make video footage of the campaign. And I'm down there when that guy says to me, he's come back to that guy and I'm sorry, what are you doing? The minister said stop working. I said no to the Minister, you don't stop working because this is concrete 450 and you have to tell me when it's done, you can make video all you want. But they're honest, I told you when all of Albania is supporting us to get two bags of drinks back to the workers, not right, but to respect.

Dedia said that from that moment that Faton Peci didn't say goodbye to him, he wouldn't talk either, but still for personal and family culture's sake, he's been holding out his hand again.

"From there when he didn't talk to me, I didn't talk to him, but for my culture and my family's honor, I'm reaching out and talking to him.

In the journalist's question of what the reports have been like with other ministers such as Jalal Svecla, Hysen Durmishi's Elbert Krasniqi, he has replied that he speaks only reality and that these ministers have not recognised and talked to them until the bridge is under way.

Dedia has said that the ministers Svecla, Cransiqi and Durmish have supported it with the full power of the state.

But there were people who supported me, especially those three ministers, Hyseni, Elbert, and Xhelel, have supported me with all the power of the state. I've been told whatever you need bridges, at 3 o'clock in the night, I called Jeremiah when he left the water, and at 3 o'clock in the night, he dialed my phone. I only speak reality. I've been in the Democratic Party of Kosovo for 25 years and I'll always be, but the reality is that even those who are with the Vetevendosje party and Fatoni's List and LDK, I have friends in all parties.
