Barcelona's former president, Joan Gaspart, has sharply criticised Real Madrid's defender, Dani Carvaal, for his altercation with Barcelona's Lamine Yamal after El Klasicos.
Who's Carvaal to lecture? He was a great player, but his time has passed. Why should Lamine call for forgiveness if his words were not addressed to even Carvaal?
He also urged Barca to take care of Yamal's physical state and advised the Spaniard to return to its best form.
The former Barca chief added: “if Lamine is not in 100 percent his best form, he should rest and recover. He only has to play when he's fully in shape. There should be no excuses.
It's clear that he should take care of it, but Barca is on it. There's a fan base that you love so much and he can't disappoint. He must regain that support and realize that people know that even though he is 18, he wins as one who is 30,”, he concluded.
