The application for energy subsidization opens for vulnerable families

They have made it known that the families that applied last year do not need to re-appreciate, as they say their data was automatically carried for 2025.

The finance ministry says this programme aims to support the most vulnerable families during the winter season to facilitate facing electricity expenses.

The MF has informed the criteria for citizens who want to benefit this programme.

“top profit criteria: Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, incomes of up to $150 per member, real estate up to 100,000 timex1>, the MF says.

They have made it known that the subsidy is realised according to the estimate formula, which is based on the average household income and the height of the electricity bill for the current month.

“Application remains open for six months, but we invite all new applicants and those of last year who have changes in their data to apply in October, as payments will not be implemented constitutionally, said the finance ministry has distributed concerning the opening of the application for the Protection of Cemable Electricity Consumers programme 2025 to 2026./Periscopi/
