Ahmeti: Kosovo can do more for former KLA leaders found in The Hague

The chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration in Northern Macedonia (BDI), Ali Ahmeti, has said Kosovo institutions can do more to support former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, who are being tried at The Hague.

He has warned that after the protest that started in Tirana, a protest will soon be held in Skopje as well. He for Kosova Prees has said that war associations in northern Macedonia are working in this direction and that the protest will be held after local elections there.

“Warworks derived from northern Macedonia are in operation and it is a matter of time when it will be organised. Certainly, after the election's end, such a move will take place in Skopje at Skenderbej square”, he said.

Ahmeti, who is participating in the organised protest in Tirana in support of former KLA leaders, said institutions in Kosovo can do more to support Thaci and others being tried by the Special in The Hague.

He said today's protest in Tirana is a clear message that former KLA leaders being tried in The Hague are innocent and that the process at the Special Court has deviated.

Humans are innocent, they are deliverers and are neither traffickers nor people who have exercised terror and genocide over another people.
