Asked about the EU's approach to Tahiri stressed that penalties against Kurt are deserved. She said he has failed and has not been co-ordinated with the US and EU for municipalities in the north.

I wish these choices would bring change, and an essential change is to switch from an anti-American government to a pro-American government like we were before and after the liberation. Kurt's victory was linked to the disappointments citizens had experienced by past governments, now I think that citizens had an opportunity to see this government and political party, that these were not in government before. I'm waiting for the real votes reflecting an assessment of failed policies and those that have gone well”.
