“I dream of a goal with Serbia, in Belgrade with a cold mind and a burning heart”, telling Taulant Sefer: The World would be history

Taulant Sefer hopes that the year 2025 will mark a huge achievement for Albanian football, such as the qualifications at the 2025 World. National attacker, in an interview for “Sports News” in “News 24” has shown the targets intended to reach this year with the Reds.

In co-operation with the Travisa Tufa modera, the Sefer has stopped especially in the face of the rivals of the Redzines, England and Serbia, stressing that the match in Belgrade will definitely be very special.

Definitely. I said that earlier that I was a National fan. The World would be our story.

 How was this year for you, Sefer? What was the most beautiful moment in 2024?
Praise be to God. This year has been successful both for me individually and for the nationals.

What about the biggest hostage? What else would you like to do, what could have done better?
No doubt it was the first time in the Nationals and we lacked experience. I wish we had a group of our own. All those teams have won trophy. I'd like a group of our own and we could walk more in the European world.

If the results could and were justified in the European world, since the rivals were very strong, what happened in the League of Nations? Why is it that after our European qualifications, we have suffered a steady decline, made us readable?

I wouldn't say we're readable, but football has become difficult. Each opponent comes in to give his best. This is part of football, we need to look forward. We wanted to do more for the National, but this is football. Sometimes things don't work out as you wish.

Have you discussed this with the coach, among you players, why this fall after the European qualifications? At a time when we, fans, expected an even stronger national...
It's been tested, and we know where we were wrong. We have also had good matches, such as those against Ukraine and Georgia. We have to look forward. We need to improve to do better in the upcoming games.

Shepher, we got back in time to find out what lies ahead. We were all eyes and ears from the World's lot. What was the first thing that happened to you when the tigers put us in a group with England and Serbia?
I followed the shift carefully. Strong group. England and Serbia are strong teams, but as I said, if you enter the field focused, then you can create problems for any kind of opponent.

Whom would you like to avoid, Sefer, England or Serbia?
When you have a strong group, there is also a positive side, since you can show yourself. I wouldn't get a team out of this group.

10 years ago with Serbia was one of the most spectacular matches. Today after 10 years, how do you see this confrontation, ready to play in Belgrade?

We think of our professional side and go there and show ourselves. I've said elsewhere that we should have a cold mind, a cold head and a burning heart.

Have you talked to the boys about this confrontation, how did you guys get between the group?
Yeah, it's definitely a strong group. We enjoyed seeing such strong rivals. We want to get into the field and give it our best. I hope we make Albanians proud.

You imagine a goal towards Serbia and a feast of eagles...
I always think of a goal towards Serbia. I don't want to deal with provocations. God will mark and make all Albanians proud.

Does this dual confrontation with Serbia put second place?
Every fight has to be taken one by one. We have to do our best at every fight and we'll look at the score.

Starting from the Mytic “musey” on England, this match is impossible...
England is a strong rival and favorite of the group. Every match has its own characteristics. If we are united we can play soccer against any rival. I think we can also cause problems in England.

What do you personally feel about Sefer, can we qualify for the world? Or would achievement be second place and play-off?
We want the qualifications and we'll do our best for it.

 Let's talk about you in a personal way, are you satisfied with moving to Turkey?
I play on a team that's good for strangers. I feel like I've got time here, I'm really happy.

Can we get something new in January, or will you close this season at Bodrumspor?
I have three years of contract and I'm happy here. I expect good results and then we'll see.

Dispel a curiosity, do you care about Tirana anymore? Of course he misses a lot of white folks...
When I signed the contract, I said I came here to help Tirana, but it's also relevant. Something mutual happened. I knew my purpose and certainly that Tirana is in my heart. One of the reasons I'm here and the nationals is Tirana. Can I play the Royale again? Football is unknown. I'm focused here.

I hope we all are in good health. My dream is to qualify for the World and that would be great.
