A delegation of the European Union Election Monitoring Mission, which will closely monitor the February 9th elections, remained during the day at the Central Election Commission.
Initially, the EU-led MVZ delegation, led by the deputy of this mission, Thomas Boserrup, met with CEC Chairman KEC Kressnik Radoniqi, meanwhile, and later met with CEC members Sami Kurteshi, Ilir Gashi, Alban Krasniqi and Ibrahim Selmonaj.
During the first meeting, leader Radoniqi welcomed observers from the European Union in Kosovo and briefed them about the preparations that the Central Election Commission is holding for organising the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo Elections for the Assembly, which will be held after a month.
Likewise, Radonic expressed the great importance he has for the CEC in monitoring the elections, as credibility in the election process will increase and that the observer's findings will be taken seriously by the CEC, as in the past.
For his part, European Union Election Monitoring Mission Deputy Thomas Boserup said this mission would monitor the election process in Kosovo, ahead, during and also after the elections.
The EU Election Monitoring Mission delegation also met with CEC members Sami Kurteshi, Ilir Gashi, Alban Krasniqi and Ibrahim Selmonaj, with whom they discussed the election preparation process.
