In PKU's announcement, it is known that the police official had not adjusted the speed of the vehicle and moved to the opposite tape.
On the other hand, it becomes known that police official allegedly caused the accident.

Three people lose their lives in a traffic accident
Pristina, January 27, 2025
IPK investigators last night around 7:00 p.m. were reported by Kosovo Police for a traffic accident involving an official police vehicle and a civilian vehicle.
After receiving information, IPK investigators have made their way to the scene, joining other police and prosecutorial teams at the scene.
The accident is reported to have taken place on the regional Mitrovica road, Peja, in the village of Cubrel at 18:40.
Based on initial investigative actions, it is suspected that the accident occurred as a result of not adjusting the speed of moving the vehicle with road conditions from the head of the official police vehicle, which has been passed on the opposite tape by hitting the civilian vehicle.
As a result of the accident, three people (who were in the civilian car) have had a male and two females unfortunately passed away.
The lifeless bodies of the three victims have been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine for Obligation.
Serious body injuries have suffered four police officials and a citizen of civilian cars who were sent to QKUK for medical treatment.
As part of the administrative procedures and the interest of the investigation, The IPK has recommended the suspension of the police official who was the director of the official police vehicle at the moment of the accident while investigative action is under way in co-ordination with the competent prosecutor.
