Stano: Failure of sides to reduce tensions will have consequences

While speaking of closing the five Serb parallel institutions from Kosovo institutions last week, he has said the bloc estimates that these actions are unilateral and uncoordinated, with the potential of increasing tensions.

“There are older issues on the table to consider. We consider this very useless and the next unilateral and uncoordinated step that has the capacity to increase tensions and lead to further escalation. The failure of the parties to reduce tensions would have consequences”, Stano said at the media conference.

Although he did not give any date for the upcoming meeting between the parties in Brussels, Stano has said such a meeting is expected to be held very soon.
