Kosovo's national will start a new campaign Friday -- that of the League of Nations, edition 2024/25.
Headed by Franco Foda, “Dardians” will face two challenges, first with Romania and then with Cyprus, writes “Gazeta Express”.
Changes have taken place in Romania recently, even after a historic success in “EURO 2024” by changing the coach and inviting players who have been missing this nation for some time.
Coach Edi Irkord '%sescu replaced Mircea Lucescu (79-year-old), who returned for his second period in Romania the first since 1981 1986.
The veteran coach, Lucescu, has invited Alexandru Mitritan and Universitetea Craiova, who has 18 matches and three goals with Romania.
He was not invited to the past two gatherings due to disagreements with ex-selector Edi Irdanaescu.
Alexandru Chipciu, defender of the University Cluj, has 45 matches and six goals with the national of “Tri Colories”. He had not been invited for five years.
Iulian Crestea is another return player, while he has not played for Romania since 2022.
The FCSB's Mihai Lixandru has been invited for the first time and could debut to Kosovo.
There are seven players who were with Romania in the European of Germany who were not invited to these two matches.
Romanian media in recent days have also envisioned possible formation in Romania's new coach Lucescu's new mission at Romania's helm.
It is believed that FCSB goalkeeper Tarnovanu will start in front of veteran Nita, who found it difficult to find a team this summer, even after a big performance at the European championship.
On the right-hand side, it is said to discuss the launch of the match with Rayo Vallecanos' Andre Ratiu, as far as the defence centre is expected to present Dragus of Blica, while on the left will take over Romania's only left-wing defence seat Bancu.
Romania and Europeans played with the 4-1-4-1 system, while Coach Lucescu's favorite system is 4-2-3-1.
Little on defence, with defanzi duties, is expected to play from the first minute in Pristina, the usual Marin.
The fourth part of the midfield/attack will be the most dangerous part of Kosovo in this match.
In fact, Parma's duo, Denis Man and Valentin Mihaila, are the players that Kosovo should make “target four”. If you can't believe it, ask the fans of Milan and Naples.
In three matches, Mihaila still found the goal with Parma, but has been a permanent threat to the opposing defence. During these three matches, the Romanian assailant has had a goal expectations (xG) of 1.2, until he is afraid to even hit the ball from every corner.
The 24-year-old turns out to be accurate even in equipment on the opponent's ground, having an average of 10 for matches.
Mihaila síli doesn't go back to defense, making it an average of two match-fixings and an average of 1.2 recovered balls.
But nobody is perfect. Mihaila has an average of 7.7 lost cannons for the match.
Mihaila had scored Kosovo in last September's duel.
On the right side of the field, Dennis Man operates, who statistically is more dangerous than his co-ordinator.
Man in his name has 2 goals so far in Serie A, marking Milan and Fiorentina.
The 26-year-old is known for the mode of “playmacker”, while long balls and high prey are some points that isolate him, which will be a big problem for the Pacific or anyone who plays on the left side of Kosovo.
Dennis Man is also good in defense, being a great help to Ratiu, as he also has problems with frequent ball loss.
Man has 7 goals in 28 presentations with Romania in all races.
Behind the attackers will play Nicolae Stanciu (who marked Kosovo in last year's match) and Ravan Marin, even those undisputed.
And to complete the formation, for the match against Kosovo, the position of the central assailant is expected to catch Denis Dragus of Trabzonspor.
Dragus has only one goal in eight presentations of this competition edition.
Risk for Kosovo from the reserve bank may also be Florinel Coman, who has two goals in two matches in Qatar.
This will be the third time these two nationals will face.
In qualifications for “EURO 2024”, Kosovo and Romania had faced twice.
On June 16th of last year in Pristina, the match had ended 0:0. Later on 12 September in Bucharest, Romanians won 2.0.
Total formation:
Romania: Tânovanu (GK) ) Ra'iu, Dr.guin, Burcão, Bancu M. Marin D. Man, Stanciu ( C), R. Marin, Mihãoil Dr.
The match will be played on Friday (September 6th) in “Fadil Vorkri”, first by hour 20:45.
