Return to institutions, KKP: We have not accepted requests from Serbian prosecutors to return to work

In November 2022, Serbs launched Kosovo institutions. Their reintegration has been reacted recently following Vuciki's request. As long as empty chairs were replaced in the municipality of the assembly, the Court of Police did not. The KDP said the case of the judges' return would be considered at the right time, while [...]
The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, in a response to the Express, has said it has not accepted any requests from Serbian prosecutors for return to office.
“ ”
Meanwhile, yesterday by the Kosovo Judiciary Council, they said this issue would be considered at the moment that the KDR estimates is the right time and according to the procedure set for such situations.
Kosovo Judiciary Council (KGJK), reports all media and interested ones that it remains close to the earlier stated position that the issue of the resignations of the judges and the administration of the Serbian Community, will be considered at the moment KDR estimates it is the right time, and according to the procedure set for such situations”, the KRECCE response for Express says.
Serbs in November 2022 gave up Kosovo institutions in protest of the Government's decision on license plates. They were replaced in the assembly and municipality, but not in the Court, Prosecutor, and Police.
A week ago, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, came up with several demands, including the return of Serbs to institutions.
Vuciqi's call for the reintegration of Serbs to institutions was welcomed by the European Union.
“We welcome the readiness expressed by President Vuciq to continue engagement in the EU facilitated dialogue. We take his call to Kosovo Serbs, to participate in the Kosovo elections and to reintegration into all Kosovo institutions, from which they left in 2022”, EU spokesman Peter Stano told REL.
While Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said on Tuesday Vuciqi's request for the return of Serbs to Kosovo institutions is not sincere. According to her, it is rhetoric to draw attention to Serbia's efforts to destabilise.
Osmani added that Kosovo is interested in Serbs being in institutions as it is in the Constitution.
“We are interested in Serbs being in institutions, which is due to both the Constitutions and Ahtisaari's packages. Kosovo is multiethnic not for what Vucinqi says, but belongs to the Constitution. At no time do I believe Vuchy has that purpose. It appears that it is only working on destabilising the region and returning to the 90s”, Osmani said.
On Tuesday after the meeting in Brussels, First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi spoke to reporters, where he was also asked about “sizes” and Vuciqi. He said he is concerned about him that Vuciqi's statements have not met with severe response from the European Commission and the European Union.
The current meeting is originally invited before Mr. Vuciq's statement. Mr. Wuchitch is very generating statements, almost every day on television. What has been distressing to me, not the content, reporting or conspiring, but the fact that his findings have not been met with distress or harsh response from the European Commission or the European Union, but what has been chosen is that from a 40- to 50-minute speech, two minutes can be resolved that can be interpreted positively, and all the response has been taken with those two minutes rather than the very dangerous content of this address. ”
While Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca told reporters that such an act would be unconstitutional, while Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla said that Vuciq, with his demands, aims to continue Kosovo's “instrumentisation of Serbs”.
As regards Vuciqi's request for early elections in the north, Local Power Management Minister Elbert Krasniqi has said they could be held during April or October 2025.
To be clear, elections in four northern municipalities can be held during April 2025, but since the calendar for local elections is scheduled for the month of October the same, then the year I see no possibility for elections in these municipalities to be held in April. The administrative instruction of the Government” enables this, Krasniqi said of the medium “Arberia”.
