Remove the blockades set by Serbs at border points what Osman, Svechla and Gervala said

In protest of closing parallel institutions in Kosovo, Serbian associations set blockades at border points. The one in Jarinje opened on Saturday morning, and in the evening Merdar and Brnjak opened. That's what Minister Svechla wrote. After accepting reports that blockades created by extremists have already been removed. [...]

That's what Minister Svechla wrote.

After receiving reports that blockades created by masked extremists that were located yesterday on Serbia's territory and seeing that there are no obstacles to circulation from and towards border points of the Republic of Kosovo, we made the decision to open the Merdara and Brnjak 11x1> border points, Svecla said on Facebook.

While Dragisa Miriq, chairman of the Korean Association in Serbia, announced on Saturday afternoon that the blockade in Merdare has been removed.

Miric said his association will wait until 1 October for the fulfillment of their demands by Kosovo authorities and warned new border blockades, if Serb demands are not met.

The blockade organisers want Kosovo to withdraw police from majority Serb municipalities in the north, allow the use of Serbian dinar currency, which was banned earlier this year, as well as allow the work of parallel Serb municipalities.

Minister Svechla said on Friday that these crossings in Merdare and Brnjak were closed after masked persons on the Serbian side of the border had “selectively prevented and with fascist approach” citizens who wanted to pass the transit across Serbia.

Svechla said all of this happened “before the eyes of the Serbian police”.

The REL team has seen masked persons near the blockade located on the Serbian border section in Brnjak on Friday night.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has accused Serbia on Saturday of trying to create tensions and escalation in Kosovo and in the region “through criminal gangs related to state”, following blockades located in the Serbian part of the border crossings between the two countries, REL reports.

Serbia once again shows it doesn't care about free movement, does not care about good neighborhood. These blockades, which were recently created, are specifically intended to terrorise Albanian citizens wanted to exploit these border checkpoints”, Osman said on Saturday in Podujevo, where he participated in an event.

Osmani called on Kosovo allies “come out with a public view regarding these continuing violations on the part of Serbia, which are violating the rights of our citizens and tending to destabilise peace and security not only in Kosovo, but in our entire region”.

While Kosovo's top diplomat, Donika Grovalla, has been flocking Germany as it reacted to “X” to the border blockade with Kosovo taking place within Serbia's territory.

Gervala has mentioned that Albanians with German license plates are being banned there, calling on Berlin to commit to their free passage.

In addition, Gervala has written that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq is misleading the EU and Germany, talking about EU membership. According to her, Serbian police are doing nothing against roadblocks that are letting Albanians pass.

“Beyond the border in Brnjak, masked Serbs are stopping cars with German registration and not letting Albanians cross. The Vuciki police are supporting that racist escalation, seeing and doing nothing”, Gervala wrote.

Gervala also mentioned the lithium deal, saying that despite it, Germany must react. Kosovo's top diplomat has also called on the EU and the US to stop Vuciqi before it starts fighting.

The organiser of blockades at the border points, Rasa Guardvic has threatened with radicalism if SX0->normalisation of the” situation by October 1st.

Security, has told Tanjug there are no blockades at any crossing, saying the circulation in Jarinje has been normal all the time, but says the flow of Kosovo documents vehicles was banned.

He has also said that they have given Kosovo government deadlines by 1 October to penx0> abnormalise the situation,” on the contrary says they will take more radical measures.
