Periskopi learns that President Osmani has refused to meet with the European Union's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia diaogu, Miroslav Lajcak, despite the latter's request.

The reason is unknown.

Lajcak wrote today about his commitments at the security conference, Globsec, indicating he met with the new US engagement for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanoff and Vucicin. The meeting with the first one saw it as the key “ ” and “firming partnership”, while the Serbian president said he spoke to “for the next steps in the dialogue and expectations from the upcoming period”.

The European mediator warned that he will visit Kosovo after briefly stops in Brussels and after participating in the Bledi Strategic Forum. In Pristina, he said he will come “to prepare the upcoming meeting of chief negotiators in Brussels”.

Osmani at a discussion Saturday at the Globsec security conference complained about independence among the parties in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, voicing confidence that with the arrival of Kaya Kallas in the post of European Union's diplomacy chief “shall return to the table”.
