This position of the United States, he held, has long been known.
On 11 September, Kosovo's Special Prosecutor announced the establishment of the indictment against 45 people, including Milan Radojic, accusing them of participating in the armed group that attacked the Kosovo Police in Zvecan Banjska on 24 September 2023.
Authorities in Kosovo describe the attack as a terrorist.
The act has not yet been made public, and it is not known who the other people who have been charged.
A group of armed Serbs attacked the Kosovo Police on 24 September last year. During the attack, police Officer Africa Bulnjak was killed, while three Serb attackers were also killed in exchange for fire.
Milan Radoicic, former vice president of the Serbian List, the main party of Serbs in Kosovo who enjoys Belgrade's support has claimed responsibility for the attack. He is believed to be in Serbia.
The case prosecutor, Naim Abazi, during a conference in Pristina did not mention the possible involvement of Serbia's leadership in the attack, which, earlier, has been repeatedly initiated by Kosovo authorities, even though she has denied it.
“All efforts to focus on dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia”
As for reports between Kosovo and Serbia, Ambassador Hill said all efforts should focus on dialogue because, according to him, this is the only way to solve problems. Hill said that position has been expressed by the European Union's special representative for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, during the visit he held to Serbia on September 10th.
After meeting with Hill and Lajcak, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq said he would submit Serbia's demands, due to “brutal and subtracial attacks on the Serb population in northern Kosovo”.
He did not specify what attacks were involved.
Vuciq said that in the next 72 hours he will address the public for “that the international community has not fulfilled, for what Serbia seeks, and aims to do”.
Miroslav Lajcak, meanwhile, has stated that during the meeting, Vucic has raised major concerns about the Serb situation in Kosovo.
“
Lajcak remained in Belgrade, but one more in Pristina, to prepare the new round of dialogue for normalising the reports. After the visit to Pristina, he declared it agreed to a meeting at the chief negotiators' level, but did not give any date for a meeting in Brussels. /rel
