Haliti: We can't send any bills to the West, but they can.

MP Xhavit Haliti from the Democratic Party of Kosovo has reacted to US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier's statement, calling it a welcome but problematic message. Haliti stressed that this statement came after the reflections of Prime Minister Kurti in Brussels and constitutes a signal to the Government of Kosovo.

 

 

 

The “Declaration welcomed by Kosovo's friends, made a day after Kurti made a reflective statement regarding its public attitudes and statements given in Europe's capital, Brussels. It is the next statement and message given to the Kosovo Government Political Garden”, Haliti said.

Haliti said it is unacceptable to make statements as guests at the home of the one who has offered help in the most difficult times. He called this a politically wrong move that has consequences for Kosovo citizens. According to him, Kosovo should not send bills to the West, while they continue to perceive the internal situation.

Linking the situation to the election process, Haliti underlined the need to respect the suggestions of Western democracies.
