First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo Besnik Bislimi welcomed Canada's non-resident ambassador for Kosovo, Jessica Blitt, at the meeting.
He thanked the ambassador for Canada's continued support for Kosovo, isolating support for Kosovo's membership processes in international organisations.
The sides talked about bilateral reports and potential for expansion and deepening them even further. Co-operation between the two states' congregations and deputies, establishing agreements or memorandums of understanding for strengthening interoperability in areas of common interest, and strengthening ties in the economic spheres were stressed.
The deputy prime minister briefed the ambassador also on current developments in the country and the dialogue process. Expressing gratitude for Canada's contribution and support to Kosovo, the deputy prime minister thanked the ambassador for today's conversation and exchange.
