It is the first time the Kosovo Security Force has organised the basic course of infantry officers at the School of Defence Academy Officers.
And within that context, Defence Minister Ejup Macedonci and KSF Commander Lieutenant General Bashari visited the Vrella Camp, where this course is currently under way.
“Based on KOMFSK priorities for developing schooling programmes, the Kosovo Security Force for the first time in the country is organising the Basic Course of Infantry Officers (KBOK) at the Defence Academy School of Officers. This course is for missions to train and develop infantry officers to be mentally, physically and morally prepared to lead infantry units”, said a defence ministry report.
KBOK is a 13-week course that trains young officers for advanced infantry and leadership skills in the battlefield, and assessing leadership potential and qualifies leadership candidates in the infantry field.
The key tasks to be executed during this course are: tactical maneuvering, synchronization of the infantry assets easy, physical preparation, and precise fire with light infantry weapons”, the ministry reports away.
