Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR will participate in several EUFOR (EU Forces in BiH) exercises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
KFOR units will take part from August 25th to September 13th 2024 in the “Fast Response 2024” exercises.
EUFOR has announced these exercises two days ago that it announced citizens that traffic could be heavy because of these exercises.
“On August 24th and 26th 2024, citizens can see increased activity of the EUFOR vehicle movement on the roads between the Klomuk border points, Metalljka and Svilaj and Capljina and Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. These movements are related to the arrival of EUFOR reserve forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as EUFOR troops will be provisionally increased by these reserve forces from Austria, Hungary, Romania and international peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) for the high-scale annual reaction exercise EUFOR, held between 24 August and 16 September 2024. The columns will include light and armoured vehicles and will be supported by local police and accompanied by international military police.
