Protesters have been addressed by MP Kamberi, who has said discrimination as a phenomenon is prohibited for democratic societies, as he has said, especially for a society that claims to be part of the European Union.
He has said that official Belgrade is discriminating local Serbs for hating Albanians.
Kamberi has said that official Belgrade is discriminating local Serbs for hating Albanians. “We are here because the government in Belgrade is refusing to respect our rights, is refusing to integrate us into state bodies fairly and equally”, Camberi has indicated.
While Albanian language professor Luqman Misini has spoken of lack of textbooks.
In absence of textbooks, professors teach differently. The countries of the region use advanced tools in the education system. We are still being denied school textbooks. We're being banned from history as subjects. We're being banned from geography”, he said.
Student Enis Fejzullahu has spoken of not recognising diplomas from the state of Serbia.
“Student of the Presevo Valley throughout the course of studies and after graduation carries the burden of non-recognition, concern over what after completing studies and fears that he will not be able to exercise his profession, at his place”, he has filed.
