Two people wound with gunshots in the year

One person has been arrested, Kosovo Police spokesman for the Gjilan region Valon Osmani told Periscope.

“With the date 08.08.24 at 10:07, the State Police Station in the Year has received information that in the New Village, the municipality of Year has fired gunfire as a result of two persons --” -- Osmani said.

According to initial suspicions, the row has occurred due to a dispute between the two sides over a Serb property, a witness from the site told Paparac.

Police said the two injured have been sent for medical treatment and that the same are at risk for life.

The emergency police units have responded to the case, and the first investigations taught that two Kosovo male men were injured as a result of these shootings. The same after receiving the first aid family medicine centre in Pozeran have been transferred to the Gnjilan Regional Hospital, where currently it is handling”, Osmani said.

Two firearms were confiscated at the scene.
