Neymar dreams of going back to Barcelona ʹ even for very small wages

Spanish journalist Joan Fontes has troubled the football public with a sensational statement in his podkast, saying Neymar wants to return to Barcelona at any cost. This statement has prompted numerous speculations about the possibility of the legendary Brazilian returning to the club that made it famous.

Neymar, currently a player at the Al-Hilal club in Saudi Arabia, had moved from Santos to Brazil to Camp Nou 11 years ago, where he became one of the most beloved fans. He formed an offensive threes known as MSN, along with Lionel Messin and Louis Suarez, who was very successful.

With Barcelona, Neymar won two Spanish championships and the Champions League in 2015. In 2017, however, he made a major transfer to the PSG for a record record 222m euros, which remains the most expensive transfer in history.

While Neymar had several successful seasons at “Princes Parquen”, he did not fully meet the expectations of fans at the European level. Following several numerous injuries and criticisms from fans and media in France, he left the SPG last year and signed a luxury contract with Al-Hilal, worth 150m euros annually.

Fontes found that Neymar is looking for a bigger challenge and dreams of returning to Catalon. Although Barcelona is in a financial crisis and cannot offer a salary equal to that of Saudis, it is speculated that Neymar may be willing to accept a lower salary to realize his desire for return to Barcelona.
