As the presidency reports on the meeting, Osmani has said Kosovo remains committed to continued co-operation with NATO and KFOR for addressing challenges in the area of security.
Osman also said he thanked NATO for its inherent commitment to peace, security and stability, and in this context renewed Kosovo's strategic goal of integration into the Euro-Atlantic community, voicing confidence that NATO membership will contribute to the security and stability of the entire region.
The opening of Ibër Bridge was also discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani has reiterated the position for opening the bridge, but that it has outlined “the importance of maintaining communication, co-ordination and deepening co-operation between our institutions and our security partners, especially with NATO, for drafting a joint implementation plan for the opening of the” bridge.
The opening of the bridge, Osmani has described it as an act in the function of normalisation and integration in the interest of all citizens, regardless of ethnicity, the Presidency says. /Express/
